Erstwhile presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, has clarified why she had to quit the ACPN, dubbing its leaders “transactional politicians” whose visions and values are opposed to what she stands for. In a series of tweets from Cabo, Mexico, Ezekwesili said the action of the ACPN leaders to quickly adopt President Muhammadu Buhari as their candidate underscores the some of the reasons she had to take a flight from the party.
